MP Terblanche grew up in the Eastern Cape and completed his schooling at Marlow Agricultural School in Cradock. He is a born entrepreneur and started Eyona Meats in Somerset East in 2006. They originally distributed a range of processed meat supplied by Sky Country from Thaba Nchu. "We served both big and small retail outlets right from the start and we consider ourselves as a "partner" in their respective businesses. This helped us to identify their need for a wider range of products and over time broadened our range of products which we sourced from key suppliers. The business grew gradually and we had to build our modern well-equipped distribution center and expand our fleet of delivery and refrigerated vehicles " explains MP. He is passionate about his customers and expects his staff to demonstrate Eyona Meats's commitment to superior service. "I realized early in my career that you cannot do it alone. It is a team effort and everyone, from the supplier, to the administrative, receiving, packing and delivery staff as well as the reps must do what is expected," MP concluded. MP is a huge man in stature but also in his community. He is committed to his family, wife and daughter. He is a keen cyclist and loves nature and hunting.
